Family-owned and operated since 2008, we’ve been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families across Northwest DC.

The MacArthur Fund

The MacArthur Fund was established in 2021 after a senior lost dog named MacArthur was found in the Palisades and brought to us for medical treatment. A kind-hearted good Samaritan noticed his poor condition and rallied the community to cover his care costs through a GoFundMe campaign. The overwhelming support not only fully funded MacArthur’s care but also left a surplus, leading to the creation of the MacArthur Fund to help other pets in need.

We are proud to announce that $1 from every exam fee will be donated to the MacArthur Fund. These contributions, along with any additional donations from our generous community, will be used exclusively for treatments that owners cannot afford. Our goal is to ensure that all pets receive the care they need, regardless of financial difficulties.

I highly recommend this vet clinic. I took my newly adopted dog to see Dr. Elliot and she was so helpful and thoughtful. My dog has some health issues that are worse than what the rescue initially conveyed to me and she took the time to get to know her issues and check in with me about future care. Dr. Elliot is extremely kind and caring, as well as all of the staff and techs! They are easy to follow up with the portal they use is easy to navigate.
