Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Beth Venit is a Montgomery County native, and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and the internship program at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates.
She initially wandered across the river to work as an emergency clinician at the Hope Center in Vienna, VA. While there, Virginia Living Magazine named her as one of Virginia’s Top Vets. After 4 years in the ER, she made the switch to family practice and loves the personal relationships she can now form with clients. She enjoys being a vet because she is constantly learning something new, and maintains an active relationship with the area’s specialty veterinarians.
She is living happily in DC with her pitbull mix, Doozer, and together they have logged countless hours running, hiking, and mischief-making. Dr. Venit is also USDA/APHIS certified for International Health Certificates for both dogs and cats.
Dr. Venit recently cut back on her hours at Palisades Veterinary Clinic as she is pursuing her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree.
