Emergency cases shall always receive top priority.
We operate by appointment for doctors’ hours, except in case of emergencies. Clients with an emergency should call us at 202-363-1316 to inform us of the problem.
Cats should be in pet carriers and dogs on leash and under control when entering the lobby, PLEASE.
Surgery patients should arrive between 8 AM and 8:30 AM, unless we inform you otherwise. Surgery patients should be fasted (no food) after 10 PM the night before surgery. Water is fine to offer surgery patients up until drop off.
If scheduling a specific time for your appointment is difficult, a drop-off appointment may be your best option. You can drop your pet off between 8am-9am and pick up in the evening before we close. The doctor will examine your pet during the day in-between their scheduled appointments and surgeries. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions. Not all cases or days are ideal for drop-offs, so please call ahead. We cannot schedule drop offs on Saturdays.
