Clinic Policies

Emergency cases shall always receive top priority. *We do not see emergencies on weekends. * For a list of emergency clinics please CLICK HERE (Insert emergency clinics link from our site). We operate by appointment for doctors’ hours, except in case of emergencies. Clients with an emergency should call us at 202-363-1316 to inform us of the problem. Cats should be in pet carriers and dogs on a leash and under control when entering the lobby, PLEASE.

Surgery patients should arrive between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, except if informed otherwise. Surgery patients should be fasted (no food) after 10 PM the night before surgery. Water is fine to offer surgery patients up until drop off.

Drop-off Appointments
If scheduling a specific time for your appointment is difficult, a drop-off appointment may be your best option. You can drop your pet off between 8am-9am and pick up in the evening before we close. The doctor will examine your pet during the day in between their scheduled appointments and surgeries. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions. Not all cases or days are ideal for drop offs, so please call ahead. We cannot schedule drop offs on Saturdays.

Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, CareCredit, cash, and personal checks.

Please note: We only accept checks from established clients. You become an established client after your 3rd visit to our clinic.
